The two closest airports to San Miguel de Allende are:
Querétaro Intercontinental Airport (QRO)
Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from San Miguel de Allende by car. QRO is the closer of the two airports and is often the easiest option for guests traveling from Texas.
Guanajuato International Airport in León (BJX)
Approximately 1 hour and 30-45 minutes from San Miguel de Allende by car.

We recommend arriving on Thursday, March 4th in the afternoon to participate in all of our weekend events, starting Thursday night. There are no events on Sunday, we recommend departing Sunday late morning / afternoon.

Taxis are easy to find throughout the city and are very affordable. We do not recommend renting a car, as the cobblestone streets and narrow roads can be difficult to navigate. Most places in San Miguel are within walking distance, so be sure to bring comfortable shoes!

There are lots of other lovely hotels throughout town. In addition, there are Airbnbs and villas for rent through Premier San Miguel.

March is one of the best times of year in San Miguel de Allende! Think sunny days, blue skies, warm afternoons, and cool evenings. Expect daytime temperatures in the 70s with chillier nights once the sun goes down. Pack your sunglasses for daytime exploring and a light jacket or wrap for evening events!
